VERESCENCE La Granja Insulators has an insulator laboratory holding an accreditation under the ISO 17025 Standard (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories) with scope of accredited tests as detailed in the annex available here.

Besides, the laboratory is equipped and prepared to conduct all other sample and type tests in compliance with the standards established by IEC, ANSI, CSA, BS, NF, UTE and UNE, amongst others. To this end, it disposes of the following general facilities:

Dimmensional facility

With all necessary instruments to perform dimensional measurements and checks

Mechanical Testing Facility

With two tensile machines with a capacity of up to 100T and 30T, respectively

High Voltage Facility

With a power frequency generator and an impulse generator

To test performance in polluted conditions and to carry out tracking and erosion tests

Type tests and special tests in external laboratories

For each type of insulator made by Verescence Insulators, there are available type test reports and special test reports in accordance with applicable standards carried out by independent, accredited and internationally reputed laboratories. Our laboratory technicians also collaborate with these institutions in order to perform said tests on both individual insulators and complete strings. These reports serve to demonstrate, once again, the quality and reliability of our products. They are regularly updated and are available to any client who wishes to consult them.
